A PolyDASHER is free to participating institutions.

Q What are the benefits to my institution?
A The benefits to your institution for participating in PolyDASHER include:

1. Access to data from participating institutions
2. Ability to create customized peer groups for benchmarking
3. Ability to discuss and collaborate via email with other participating institutions.

Q How do I enter my institution's information?
A Institutions are provided with a web form to enter and submit their PolyDASHER Shared Data Set. Common Data Set and national surveys data are submitted via word, PDF or excel documents.

Q Who can see the data from my institution?
A Participating members in PolyDASHER can view data from all participating institutions. Non-members can view the public version of the website, but all data submitted by consortium members is password-protected.

Q What about the confidentiality of my institution's data?
A

All participating institutions must agree to abide by the guidelines set forth in the Privacy and Security policies. Back to top

Q How do I get information about other institutions?
A Participating institutions can query the database to obtain information from other participating institutions.

Q What information does my institution provide?
A

Participating institutions are required to provide their Polytechnic data and CDS data and update it yearly. Providing national survey data is optional. Only institutions that provide data have access to data.

Q How do I find out who my institution's peer group is?
A Participants are able to create any number of customized peer groups depending on specified criteria.Back to top
Q What data do I need to participate?
A
You need the following documents to enter your institution’s Shared Data Set:
  • Most recent IPEDS data
  • Most recent Common Data Set
  • Fact Book or other institutional data
  • Most recent NSSE results (if available)
  • Most recent ACT Student Opinion Survey results (if available)

Q Where can I see a presentation about PolyDASHER?
